For years, John has talked about Mt Leinster.
It is the Mt Washington of Ireland - long hard climb with brutal
winds. The weather had not cooperated on previous vists, so I
had never ridden up this fabled climb. Last year in May, John
and David did a ride that took in the climb on a slightly warmer
day. Photos can be seen here.
You may notice that David is wearing knee warmers for that ride,
but has on much more clothing for this year's attempt.
