More Seillans

Provence is world famous for its lavendar, much of which is used for perfume. We had skirted around Grasse, the capital of the perfume industry for the last 200 years, in hopes of avoiding traffic, not the smells of sweet perfume. Another use of lavendar is as a dye, often in paint. Lavendar shutters were on display throughout our travels.

Another common image of France is cats. Cats are adored in France. Everywhere we went we found lovely friendly cats.
